Revenue Operations includes the departments listed below. A brief description of each department is included. Available positions tend to fill quickly. Therefore, applicants are required to rank their department preferences on the application. Depending on the availability of positions in each department, applicants will be placed according to their desired rankings. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements for each position applied for. Position availability in each department fluctuates seasonally to compensate for park attendance. Food ServiceThe Fort Worth Zoo is currently accepting applications for the above-reference position. This position is responsible for the food and beverage sales at restaurant or cart locations and insuring order accuracy. Requirements for this position include operating a cash register as required; displaying excellent guest service; demonstrating accurate and precise cash handling abilities; maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of facilities and grounds; preparing and cooking menu items; assisting with special events and after hour functions as required; ability to lift up to 20 pounds; ability to work in a team oriented environment; ability to work irregular hours (holidays and weekends); ability to work outdoors in heat, cold and inclement weather; and ability to stand for long periods of time. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and will be required to obtain a food handlers permit. The starting pay rate for this position is $7.15/hr. |
