Student Group Admission
Discounted Zoo admission is available to student groups by
reservation only. Eligible student groups include public,
private, parochial and home schools, as well as Head Start programs.

Student Group Reservations
To make a reservation, print, complete and fax both forms: at least seven days in advance
of your Zoo visit to 817/759-7201. Please call
817/759-7200 (on the same day) to confirm your fax was received.
The Student Group Reservation is complete when the Lead Teacher
receives the
Fort Worth Zoo Student Group Confirmation Form via fax from the Zoo Education Department.
| Students |
One ticket is issued for up to 25 students in a group. Any student
not included in the count and not paid for is not admitted
to the Zoo. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. |
| Chaperones |
Each chaperone must have his/her own ticket to enter the
Zoo. Bus drivers may receive a Zoo admission ticket if he/she
presents a valid school district license at Guest Relations. |
| Adults |
Each additional adult must have his/her own ticket to enter
the Zoo. |
Student Group Reservation Changes
If your reservation numbers change, correct your Student Group
Confirmation Form and pay for the actual number on the day
of your scheduled visit.
For changes on your lunch order, fax the new number at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled visit to
817/759-7201 and call 817/759-7420.
No refunds over $20 are given at the Ticket Booth or in the Education Center on the day of your Zoo visit. If your check is over $20 more than the amount due, the refund check is mailed to the school.

On The Day Of Your Zoo Visit
- THE ZOO OPENS AT 10 A.M. THE TICKET BOOTH OPENS AT 9:30 A.M. Send
the LEAD TEACHER with the Confirmation Form to purchase tickets.
- Write the exact number of students, adults and chaperones, including teachers, in the group on the
lines provided on the Confirmation Form. Anyone, not included in the count and sold in the initial sale, pays full price.
- Payment is made in the form of one
school check, money order, cash in large bills or credit card (with photo
identification) to the Ticket Booth. The Zoo does not accept
purchase orders, multiple checks, temporary or personal checks or large quantities
of coins. Do not mail your payment to the Zoo.

Live Animal Program, Education Center
All ages experience live Zoo animals presented in a fun, interactive
program in the Fort Worth Zoo Education Center. Reserve your Live Animal Program when you make your Zoo visit reservation.

Soil/Water Testing Program, Education Center
Students in grades 4 through 8 perform tests on various types of soil/water to determine its' composition. As they perform these tests in the Education Center they experience hands-on, cooperative group activities and learn scientific vocabulary. Reserve your Soil/Water Testing Program when you make your Zoo visit reservation.

Self-Guided Backpack Tours
The Self-Guided Backpack Tour enriches the students' Zoo visit. Each Backpack contains a Zoo exhibit
activity guide and materials to complete hands-on activities for
10 students. Reserve your Self-Guided Backpack Tour when you make your Zoo visit reservation. Be prepared to leave your driver's license until the Backpacks are returned to the Education Center.

Lunches
Zoo lunches are $4 each and include hot dog, chips, lemonade, snack crackers and Zoo
pencil.
How to order:
- Include the number of requested lunches on the Student
Group Reservation Form.
- Circle a lunch pick-up time on the Reservation Form:
- 11:00 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m.
- noon
- 12:30 p.m.
- 1 p.m.
- Pick-up your lunches at the Bluebonnet Café in the Texas Wild! exhibit.
- To cancel lunches, call 817/759-7420, at
least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled visit. Otherwise, you are charged for your original lunch reservation. School groups that do not pick up lunches at the designated
time on the day of their Zoo visit are charged for total order.
