Summer Zoo Camp


Summer Zoo Camps run weekly from June 9 - August 14 (excluding the week of June 29). Camps run from Monday through Friday and include a Summer Zoo Camp T-shirt, guided Zoo tours, Wild Wonders animal presentations, keeper chats, snacks, craft activities, and more.

Registration begins March 1, 2009!

3 & 4 year olds *must be toilet trained*
Monday-Friday Mornings: 9 a.m. to noon; $145/$155
Monday-Friday Afternoons: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; $125/$135

What makes a house a habitat? Campers explore how animals are able to thrive in different areas of the world.

Wild Behavior:
Mamas & Papas
Act like an animal where the wild things are! Campers learn about different behaviors that animals display in the wild and in the Zoo.
June 22-26
July 27-31
Animal Adaptations:
Runners, Jumpers, & Climbers
From head to toe, campers will find animals with bodies very different than their own! Campers investigate how animals use these unique features to hunt, hide, and survive.
July 6-10
August 3-7
Jr. Scientist:
Zoo Explorers
Campers will explore the science behind the scenes here at the Zoo! From looking at animal behavior to creating and managing diets, campers will discover how the zoo keepers keep the zoo running every day.
